Learn more about our Ethos

By working closely with local farmers and small producers we’ve cut down on packaging and food miles. We also try to reduce waste in other ways; we compost all food scraps and paper packaging. We reuse jars, boxes and containers, and recycle the small amount of soft plastics we use. 

We source Tasmanian and/or organic ingredients wherever possible and we consider the ethics and source of each ingredient we use. Our catering menu is mostly vegetarian, but we do offer some local and free-range meat options. We try very hard to cater for our gluten-free and vegan customers, as well as other dietary requirements, so please chat to us about this.

We're cooks first but we're also gardeners, foragers, picklers, fermenters, experimenters, menders, and thinkers, and our catering reflects this.
